Let Go is Greylan’s story. And Greylan has some BAD damn luck!! In short, Greylan is a MMA fighter on the way to the top when he does something that changes his life forever. But, the sad part about it is, he is a great guy who doesn’t deserve the life he has been dealt. Then he is trying to get his life back and everything threatens to fall apart again.

“Fighting is something he needs, almost as much as he needs to breathe.”

The story starts off with a bang…a sad bang, but a bang. But then things slow down for a while, as he is trying to get his life back on track. I did, at times, feel that that part of the story needed a little more but I still kept chugging along in hopes that things would pick up. And, it did. I felt like most of the meat of the story happens in the last 50%. A lot changes and we find out so more about everyone’s past and intentions.

“You are my big brother who always puts everyone else first. Live your life Grey, the way you’re supposed to.”

I wish I could tell you that this is a sweet love story where some lucky girl becomes the love of Greylan’s life and they live happily ever after, BUT, nope…it doesn’t happen. More bad comes Greylan’s way and then we are left with so many questions!! Yep, cliffy here!

There are many characters in this story, but, truthfully, I just couldn’t connect with them. Greylan, I sorta felt for a little because he was an amazingly unselfish and caring guy, but the rest of them…didn’t really care too much for. Greylan has this “best friend” named Meyer…yeah, I wanted to nut punch him!!! HARD!!! He was nothing but a dirtbag and I will leave it at that 😉

So, as you can see, my feelings about this story are all over the place. I liked it enough to not give up but I certainly didn’t feel as connected to the characters as I would have liked. Check it out, peeps, and see what you think 🙂
