So, my hope, when I started Hold On, was that Alexa was going to get her shit together, finally. But…NOPE!!! Holy crap, she still made me crazy!! I honestly almost stopped reading because I was tired of her whining and poor pitiful me routine. But, I hung in there and finished…only for Julian 😉

“We’re so past me not caring. I’m in this all the way with you so deal with it!”

Hold On felt like a much longer book than the first one. I found myself a tad bored with it in the first half. The juicy stuff didn’t start till about the halfway point. Julian is a saint in this one! What man in their right mind is willing to put up with so much drama and so much of a damn pity party all the time?!? Seriously, I know us women can be a little crazy sometimes, but DAMN she takes the cake. If Alexa knows what’s good for her, she will stop her nonsense and hang on to Julian.

“The past is the past. You can either choose to move on and make the best of things or you can sit in the shit forever and play the victim.”

So, as you can tell by my ranting above, Alexa is still not over all her issues. But, I gotta give it to her, she tried in this part of the series. She truly thought she was doing the right thing many times. And remember all those HOT scenes in Stay?!? Yep, there are more of those. She might can’t keep Julian emotionally happy, but the girl keeps him happy in other places 😉

And I can’t forget to mention that our old friend Luke pops his head back in this part, too. Luke and Alexa have too much unfinished business for that to be the end of him. It makes for an interesting part of this book.

Hope you’re ready for more crazy Alexa in this continuation of her story 😉
