For Mackenzie Cox, racing motorcycles is in her blood. Born into a family legacy, she’s determined to show the world that she has inherited her father’s talent in this male-dominated sport. The last thing Kenzie needs is to be antagonised by her rival team’s newest rider, Hayden Hayes. Hayden, exceedingly arrogant and outrageously attractive, immediately gets under Kenzie’s skin and she can’t help but be distracted.
As Kenzie and Hayden push each other on the track, the electric energy between them off the track shifts into an intense – and strictly forbidden – attraction. The only rule between their two ultra-competitive teams is zero contact. Kenzie needs a win, and she also needs to stay away from Hayden. Unfortunately for her though, one thing has become all too clear: she can’t.
Fuelled by passion, driven by desire, Hayden and Mackenzie both want to win more than anything else. Except for, maybe, each other. But anger, jealousy and extreme competitiveness aren’t their only obstacles . . .

4 “princess” stars!!
Furious Rush was different for me. Bike racing is something I know nothing about and wasn’t sure if it was going to keep my attention. But it did! Honestly, the first 15-20% I wasn’t too sure about but it, but I caught on and it sucked me right in. It’s the romance and the mystery that did it. This is a long story and a LOT goes on.
“He was smokin’, someone-hold-on-to-my-ovaries-before-they-explode hot.”
Furious Rush is based on Kenzie Cox and Hayden Hayes, both racers and on different sides of the fence…literally!! This is a forbidden love story, and that’s what hooked me!! I am a sucker for the forbidden love. I don’t have a clue if any of the racing parts even made sense, the author had me at forbidden love. LOL!! But don’t fear, there is a lot more to this story than just Kenzie and Hayden’s relationship…for those who need it 😉
“I needed speed. Speed was safe. Hayden was not.”
Kenzie is different. She is a female racer in a mostly male circuit, and she works for her dad. This is a struggle for her, which makes her very feisty and stubborn. But Hayden doesn’t back down from her. I enjoyed Hayden from the beginning. He is mysterious and bad-ass, yet I could tell he had a warm heart. I rooted for him the whole time.
“Race me or chase me, Kenzie.”
Also, there are many other great characters, and others that are not so great, that made this story entertaining. I am hopeful we will get more about the others, eventually. Even though the story was lengthy, I still wanted more at times. I wanted to dig a little deeper into some of them. I had some assumptions that I waited to happen and didn’t. I have been living with these characters for the last couple of days and am still wondering a few things.
And the ending….REALLY!!! I was shocked and I was mad, but I am hopeful that it means we will be seeing more of this crew in the future.
