review

**First off, don’t read this review if you have not read IF I BREAK**

5 “He’s not Cal” Stars!!

I love this series!!!  I can honestly say I have devoured every word of this series so far 🙂 I can’t even remember how I ended up reading If I Break, but I am soooooo happy I did. This series has my emotions swaying from swooning, to frustration, to laughing, and to just plain pissed off at times. Lauren and Cal/Chris’s story is very different. And honestly, I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about where Almost Broken was headed, but now I am rooting for Lauren!!

“Everything is great, except I’m in love with a man who really has no idea who I am and he’s engaged to be married to another woman. Other than that, things are just dandy.”

In the last part of the series we are left with Chris finding out about his daughter and wondering where life goes from here, for him and Lauren. Do I feel sorry for Jenna?? Yeah, a little bit. Her world has been turned upside down, but she is handling it like a spoiled brat. Oh, that’s right! She is a spoiled brat. LOL! But, anyways, enough about her. Now, Chris…Chris is a sweetheart!  But he needs to man up a little and take control of his life. What is all this nonsense about doing what everyone else wants him to do. But maybe that’s what has put him in this predicament?!? Hmmmmmm.  Almost Broken sorta hints at things that may have happened in his past and I can’t wait to see when this all comes to a head. Not because I want to see Chris or Lauren hurt, because I really have started to enjoy them, but I am not a fan of Chris’s dad and am ready to see how it all plays out.

“If Cal didn’t break me I won’t let Chris.”

I truly wanted Almost Broken to be a one sitting book for me. And it would have been if life hadn’t gotten in the way. Yes, it’s that good! Very emotional, in my opinion.  I have come to love Lauren and Chris, and Caylen, and really want them to get the happiness they deserve. But I have a feeling this may take a while. Almost Broken is a smooth read that will easily capture your attention for many hours. The whole series comes HIGHLY recommended by me 🙂
