his happily ever after with sassy, rebellious Crystal Moon.
TRULY, MADLY, WHISKEY
Releasing April 10, 2017
World Literary Press
A new sexy standalone romance by New York Times bestselling author Melissa Foster.
Eight months is a long damn time to have the hots for a woman who keeps a guy at arm’s length. But Crystal Moon is no ordinary woman. She’s a sinfully sexy, sass-mouthed badass, and the subject of Bear Whiskey’s midnight fantasies. She’s also one of his closest friends.
Just when Crystal thinks she has her life under control, scorching-hot, possessive, aggressive, and fiercely loyal Bear pushes all her sexual buttons, relentless in his pursuit to make her his.
The more Bear pushes, the hotter their passion burns, unearthing memories for Crystal that are best kept buried. But there’s no stopping the collision of her past and present, catapulting the two lovers down an emotional and sexually charged road that has them questioning all they thought they knew about themselves.

~ 4.5 Bear Candy Stars ~
I have been dying to get my hands on Bear’s story since I met him in Tru Blue by Melissa Foster.
This book was everything I was expecting it to be. I truly enjoyed it and know that I will be reading it again in the future. My only negative for this book was that I thought it was lacking in the drama department. I would’ve liked what happens at the very end of the book to have come sooner in the story. I think that could’ve added a suspenseful element to the story and would have had me turning the pages even faster. With that said this is a book I would totally recommend to readers.
This book had a little bit of everything….I laughed (Bear was amazing), I swooned, I cried, I blushed and even yelled at my kindle on an occasion or two. I would probably classify this book as an easy beach read with some serious undertones. What made this book an easy fun loving book was the love story between Crystal and Bear. But given the backstory of Crystal and what she had to endure, that added the element of sadness and seriousness to this story. But truly overall this book will leave you feeling happy and you will end the story with a smile on your face.
Can I just tell you how much I LOVED Bear!!! He was an outstanding Hero. Definitely top of my Book Boyfriend List!! The man had the patience of a saint. I loved how loyal and devoted he was to not only Crystal, but his family and friends also. He was the perfect mix of overbearing, possessive and kindhearted. And boy could he melt a pair of panties 😉 Bear really made this whole book for me. I liked Crystal too but Bear won over my heart completely!!!! I can’t say enough about this man.
I loved that we got to know Bear’s family more in this book. I look forward to reading the books about his siblings…..Bullet, Bones and Dixie. It was great catching up with Gemma and Truman and the kids….Lincoln and Kennedy. Kennedy brought on the cuteness just like she did in Tru Blue.
Truly, Madly, Whiskey is a standalone novel told in Dual and third person POV. I would label this book as a companion novel to Melissa Foster’s Tru Blue novel. I don’t believe Tru Blue needs to be read before enjoying this book, but it would help connect the characters a little more. We do see both Bear and Crystal in Tru Blue.
If you have read Tru Blue, then you don’t want to miss this book. But if you haven’t or have never read a Melissa Foster book….then this is a great place to start. I think once you read this book you will be just as addicted to Melissa’s books as I am.
