From the New York Times bestselling author, K. Bromberg, comes a new series about three brothers, the job that calls them, and the women who challenge them.

“I hate you. I never want to see you again.”

Grant Malone is not the reason I moved back to Sunnyville—at least that’s what I tell myself. Yet, those parting words I said to him back in third grade, ring in my ears every time a townsperson brings up one of the Malone boys. I thought time had healed my wounds. I was wrong. Nothing could have prepared me for how I felt when I finally saw him again.

Twenty years does a lot to turn a boy into a man. One who hits all my buttons—sexy, funny, attractive, and a police officer. But Grant is off limits because he knows too much about my past.

But I’m drawn to him. That damn uniform of his doesn’t hurt either. It’ll be my downfall. I know it.
What’s one night of sex going to hurt . . . right?

 I’ve always loved Emmy Reeves.

That’s why I’m shocked to see her all these years later. The shy girl I once knew is all grown up.

Adventurous and full of life, she owns my heart now, just as much as she did back then. Convincing her of that is a whole different story.

I’ll give her the one night she asks for—like that’s a hardship—but when it comes to letting her walk away after, she has another thing coming. There’s no way in hell I’m letting her go this time without a fight.

~ 4 Head Up, Wings Out Stars ~

Cuffed was not what I was expecting… a good way. Going into this book I was expecting a funny, sexy and swoony love story, but it was so much more than that.

This book had the laughs, the love, and the steamy, but what I wasn’t prepared for was all the emotions that would come out in this story. This is definitely a story that you need to go into blind and let it all unfold in it’s own time. So I won’t be talking about the storyline much except for how I felt while reading it.

Cuffed is the first book in K. Bromberg’s newest series….Everyday Heroes. This series is based off a family of three brothers. Grant, Grayson and Grady. This is a standalone novel told from Dual POV. It is a completed story and I believe each of the other books will focus on the other brothers and the woman who tame them.

I liked that we get an introduction to the whole family in this book. It helps set the characters for the future books, but what was great was that we didn’t lose sight of the fact that this is Grant’s book. The family were truly secondary and just added to this storyline. I truly enjoyed this storyline and this cast of characters. I will say I thought the story flowed well but at times I felt the pace was slowed down a little too much for my liking. There were parts I thought could’ve been left out of condensed to make the pace move a little faster. But overall it didn’t diminish my liking of the book.

As I said before Cuffed is Grant Malone’s story. He is a police officer for the Sunnyville PD. He has always lived in Sunnyville and wanted to follow in his dad’s footsteps. Growing up he lived next door to Emerson. They were inseparable….that is until something happens to tear them apart. Now 20 years later, Emerson is back in town and trying to set up roots for herself. But their reunion isn’t going to be a happy one. Can Grant and Emerson get over the hurt in the past?? Will they be able to build a HEA together?? Read this book to find out.

I think this series is off to a great start and if you are a fan of K. Bromberg’s books then you will want to read this book. If you like an enemies to lovers story with a lot of angst and emotion, then make sure to read this book.
