A TRUE STORY told through the voice of New York Times Bestselling author E.K. Blair.
She’s an author.
She’s a mother.
She’s a wife.
She’s a fraud.
A woman marked and bound by her own deceit, this is the astounding tale of how one choice knocked her world from its axis forcing her to battle through a year of scandal and betrayal, blurring the lines between reality and fantasy.
This is an intoxicatingly risqué stand-alone true story tangled in lust, heartbreak, and contrition.

~ 4 True Story Stars ~
I didn’t know what to expect when I decided to read Author Anonymous. I just knew that E.K. Blair wrote it and I had to read it. I was fascinated that it was a true story about someone else, but told by E.K. Blair. I can honestly say I have never read a book like this before.
The storyline is similar to other books I have read, that authors have created in fiction. I think the thing that sticks with me the most while reading this was knowing that these events truly happened to this person. I can’t lie….I admit I did spend a lot of time trying to figure out WHO Author Anonymous really is. While reading this book I would think is that a clue to her identity?? Then I just thought NOPE…she isn’t going to give it away.
I have to say I think telling this story takes a lot of courage from this anonymous author. What she talks about in this book is a very personal subject and couldn’t have been easy to share with the world. I have always wondered what it is like to be an author and constantly having stories and characters running wild in your head?? What happens when Real Life and Fantasy cross lines and start to blur?? To find out that answer you will need to read this story.
I believe E.K. Blaire did a wonderful job telling this author’s story. You could feel all the angst and emotions that went into this book. To be honest that is the reason I gave this book 4 stars.
I will say that this book had me captivated and intrigued all the way through. This is a book I would recommend but to a certain reader. I don’t think this book will be for everybody. I think some people will really have some issues with it, but then others will probably love it. Again I give the Anonymous Author a lot of credit putting her story out there (even if we don’t know who she is) It takes a lot of courage to have your life’s decisions opened up to criticism.
