Synopsis:

Rachel Hart and Bodie Wright are nothing more than teammates. As mercenaries for hire with the elite Jameson Group, they have each other’s backs in the most dangerous of circumstances. But after a mission gone deadly wrong, Rachel does something she’s never done before. She crosses the professional line and takes comfort in Bodie’s arms.

One night of passion turns their lives upside down with a pregnancy neither of them expected, and one that Rachel was too terrified to ever want. Bodie, however, is a family man through and through, and he’s determined to raise their child alone if necessary.

The only common thread Rachel and Bodie have is their membership at The Wicked Horse, a sex club that lets them both fulfill their dirtiest fantasies with each other. As they become more intimately entwined, the strong, steady man with a heart of gold makes Rachel question everything she ever thought she knew about herself. Their wicked nights together make them so much more than teammates and Rachel is about to discover the choices she thought were the most difficult are actually the easiest ones to make.

~ 4 Choices Are Hard Stars ~

Wicked Choice is the 4th book in Swayer Bennett’s Wicked Horse Vegas Series.

I enjoyed this book and storyline, but I have to say it was slightly different from the other Wicked Horse novels I have read. Don’t get me wrong this book was just as scorching HOT as all the other books, but this one really focused on the emotional side of the storyline. That is definitely not a bad thing, just different then I was expecting.

Now like I said the sexual chemistry and scenes are off the charts HOT!!! I always have to have a fan and a glass of ice water whenever I read these books. These books are not ones that should be read in public, unless you don’t mind the constant blush that will reside on your face while reading it.

Wicked Choice is a standalone novel told in Dual POV. This is a complete standalone and no other book needs to be read before enjoying this one. You will see some past characters in this story but they only add to the storyline and nothing is spoiled if these books are read out of order. As always with a Sawyer Bennett book, the flow and pace of the story were spot on. I loved that this book wasn’t overloaded with excess drama either. I think the only drama was because the heroine was in her own head to much….she was her own worst enemy.

In this story we follow Bodie and Rachel’s story. This is a friends to lovers story. Bodie and Rachel both work for the Jameson Group but have never crossed the line into more. That is until after an extremely painfully mission brings them into each others arms. What they didn’t expect was the surprise they news they receive 6 weeks later. This is when the difficult decisions come in to play. I have to say Bodie made this book for me. I absolutely loved him. He actually reminded me of some of the Heroes we see in Sawyer’s Cold Fury Series. He was the perfect mix of Alpha and sweet, you can’t help but swoon when he talks. As for Rachel….I had a hard time with her in this story. Not for the choices she had to make, but she just seemed kind of cold and distant. I was glad to see her change by the end of the book and I did end up liking her, it just took some time.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes an inner office romance that is a friends to lovers story. If you are a fan of Sawyer Bennett or the Wicked Horse Series, you need to read this book. I thought it was a great addition to this series.

About the Author:

Since the release of her debut contemporary romance novel, Off Sides, in January 2013, Sawyer Bennett has released multiple books, many of which have appeared on the New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestseller lists.

A reformed trial lawyer from North Carolina, Sawyer uses real life experience to create relatable, sexy stories that appeal to a wide array of readers. From new adult to erotic contemporary romance, Sawyer writes something for just about everyone.

Sawyer likes her Bloody Marys strong, her martinis dirty, and her heroes a combination of the two. When not bringing fictional romance to life, Sawyer is a chauffeur, stylist, chef, maid, and personal assistant to a very active daughter, as well as full-time servant to her adorably naughty dogs. She believes in the good of others, and that a bad day can be cured with a great work-out, cake, or even better, both.

Sawyer also writes general and women’s fiction under the pen name S. Bennett and sweet romance under the name Juliette Poe.
