When life brings you the perfect person at the worst possible time…
On a weekend visit to Las Vegas to visit his brother, Marine Braeden Daniels meets a woman who challenges him in ways he can’t deny. The best part is she wants what he wants.
No strings. No feelings. Just fun.
AJ is a Las Vegas performer who is finally living her dream. Growing up poor, she’s determined to succeed at any cost. No one will stand in her way—not even a hot Marine who breezes into her life all confidence and a cocky smile.
A few stolen weekends and neither can deny the feelings quickly growing between them. But the obstacles that keep them apart become more devastating when the Marine Corps calls Braeden away for a six-month deployment.
It’s only six months.

What happens when the perfect person comes into your life but the timing is all off??
Read the Final Fight by JB Salsbury to find out.
The Final Fight is the last book in JB Salsbury’s Fighting Series. This book is bittersweet, because I loved this series and I am sad to see it end, but I will say she ended this series on the PERFECT note. I thought this book wrapped up this series well. I know I will miss these characters, but hopefully we will see them in the future in other books she writes.
This book is a complete standalone and told in Dual POV. I don’t really feel that you have to read the other books before reading this book to understand what’s going on, but if you want to get the full enjoyment out of the storyline and characters I would recommend reading them in order. Or at least before reading this book read Blake’s story because Blake, Layla, Axelle and Killian all play a pretty big part in this book. But again it’s not completely necessary. JB does a fantastic job filling in what might be missing.
The Final Fight sucked me right from the beginning….I had a hard time putting it down. I just loved the storyline and the characters. I was slightly nervous at one point in the book that this was going to venture into a hard limit of mine, but I was thankful it didn’t!!! The flow of the story and the pace were perfect for Braeden and AJ’s story. I think this story played out exactly how it had to. Both Braeden and AJ did some serious growing throughout this book and I loved seeing the people they became in the end.
As you can tell this story is about Braeden and AJ. Braeden is Blake’s younger brother and a Marine. He is in Vegas visiting his brother’s family when he meets AJ at a casino bar one night. AJ is a performer in the Eros, she has struggled most of her life to get somewhere so she is pretty focused on becoming big one day and having everything her heart desires. So she isn’t willing to let anything or anyone derail her plans for the future….that is until Braeden. These two hit it off right away and I loved the banter between them. And their chemistry is OFF THE CHARTS!!! Whew….it might even melt your kindle 😉 I loved watching these two on the journey to finding themselves. I loved both of the characters. Braeden is totally swoon worthy. he melted my heart so many times. Braeden and AJ’s journey is not an easy one and they face many obstacles, but they become much stronger on the other side. Lots of emotional angst!!!
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone. If you have read any of JB’s other books or the other books in this series, you don’t want to miss this one. This is probably one of my favorite books by this author. Well Done!!!!
