I’ve stayed away, but I’m tired of watching from afar. It’s time Poppy finds out just who I am and what I’m willing to do to take what’s mine. She may hate me when she finds out my what I’ve done, but she has no choice but to accept it.
She will be my wife.
She will mother my children.
I will claim every part of her heart, body, and soul.
Anything else is unacceptable.

~ 3 Stalking Stars ~
Endless Obsession is my first Alex Grayson novel. I enjoyed this book but I have to be honest it didn’t WOW me.
I thought the writing style was good, but a little to wordy. I felt she gave us a few too many details and that slowed the story down. If she would’ve left some of that out, I think I would’ve enjoyed this even more.
I was attracted to this book because of the blurb. I found it unique and something I hadn’t read before. I truly did like the storyline and the characters. Although after reading this book, I have to wonder about my own decisions, because I’m thinking I should’ve been bothered by the extremes that Asher went to, to win over Polly. I loved the mystery and suspense part of the storyline, although I do wish some of what comes out in the end would’ve happened sooner in the book. I felt Asher’s reveal took to long to play out, that it took away from the other plot line of this book. This in turn made the ending feel slightly rushed.
In this book we meet Asher and Polly. Their story is kind of a forbidden one, in the sense that Asher is Polly’s boss. Asher is the CEO of a security company and has been harboring feelings for Polly since the first day he saw her. Determined to make her his, Asher goes to some extreme lengths to win her over. But I am not going to tell you what because that takes away from reading it yourself. Polly is Asher’s personal assistant, who has a secret admirer. Little does she know who it is 😉 It was fun watching this story unfold (again I should be worried because of Asher’s stalker tendencies) Although I wish this part of the story would’ve come to a head sooner. Will Asher be able to tell Polly he wants her?? How will Polly react when she finds out who her secret admirer is?? What happens when Polly seems to be in danger?? You’ll get the answers to these questions by reading this book.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a romantic suspense type book with a forbidden twist. Just because this wasn’t a 5 star read for me, doesn’t mean it won’t be for others. I know I am glad I picked this book up.
Holy hell! It’s him!
Unknown: You’ll find out soon enough.
Me: I’m not sure I like that answer. I have no idea who you are. What if I don’t want to know you once I find out?
I notice the time on my phone and pull the second thigh-high up my leg, keeping my eyes on the screen the entire time. This is really weird, him having my number. I’m sure it’s not too hard to get the information, but it’s the point that he went through the trouble to get it. I hate being left in the dark like this.
My phone dings again, and I quickly grab it.
Trust him? That’s laughable. How can he think I’ll trust him when I have no idea who he is?
Me: It’s hard to trust someone I don’t know.
I slip my feet in my heels as I wait for him to reply. It’s doesn’t take long.
Unsure of how to respond to that, I walk back to the kitchen to get a travel mug of coffee ready. He seems so confident, and cocky. Maybe a little too much, since it’s coming from a total stranger. How can he be so sure?
I’m buckling my seatbelt when he replies.
Oh no, that doesn’t work for me. He needs to give me something. He can’t just expect me to accept his non-answers.
leave, so I decide to wait for his reply.
