**This can be read as a STANDALONE. The second book in the Lost series tells Jessica and Parker’s story.**

All Jessica wants -as a college graduate — is to be a good girl. She landed the job of her dreams at a museum and is trying to eliminate temptations. No more short skirts (when she can help it). No wild parties. And no men.

She particularly excels at that last thing. . .

Until her path crosses Parker’s. Again. Jessica remembers the last time their paths crossed very well. She was left with a seriously bruised ego. She knows it would be best to avoid him altogether. But the charming Brit makes it hard for her to elude his electrifying pull. He is as irresistible as he is captivating.

And enigmatic.

Because underneath the sleek Armani suit and the sweet British accent that makes her crave his touch, Parker isn’t the perfect gentleman everyone thinks he is.

He’s exactly what Jessica doesn’t want, but desperately needs.
A bad, bad boy.

Found in Us is the second book in Layla Hagen’s Lost series.  Lost in Us was book 1 and I really enjoyed that book.  This book was no different!!!  I really enjoyed this book as well.  I was excited to find out we were getting Jessica and Parker’s story at the end of book 1.  I just knew they would have an interesting story to tell (and boy was I right)  I will warn you that this book was way HOTTER then I remember book 1 being, so if you aren’t comfortable with that type of book, then this might not be the right fit for you.  Let me just say that Parker really pushes some of Jessica’s boundaries 😉  As with book 1 I thought the flow and pace of this book was great.  The storyline was filled with intrigue and secrets, so it kept your attention all the way through.  I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough….I wanted to know everything about these two characters.  What I loved more about this book was that we got to see Parker’s POV.  The story is primarily in Jessica’s POV, but the author did throw in there many chapters of Parker’s POV.!!!  It was great being in his head.

This book was more than just a love story.  It was a story about 2 people trying to find love, trust and overall redemption.  Both Jessica and Parker come from troubled pasts and neither of them felt they deserved to be loved.  I will say that after finding out their secrets and the troubles of their past, that they were actually pretty similar in nature, but how these two dealt with it was totally different and is what made these two characters so different.  Jessica felt she needed to be the “good girl” to find the redemption she thought she needed.  Parker was truly driven by guilt and forced himself to become the “good boy” even though it didn’t make him truly happy.  I don’t want to say more about the story because I don’t write spoiler reviews.  Just know that you need to read Jessica and Parker’s story.  They truly are a great couple together and prove that opposites truly do attract.  I loved both of these characters equally, they were fun, loving, swoony and spicy :)..Now don’t get me wrong they both made me mad at times, but you could really feel their connection to each other.  I loved watching them grow into a trusting and loving couple!!!

As for other characters in the story….there really weren’t any.  This story really did focus on Jessica and Parker.  We did get to know Dani (James’s Sister and Jessica’s roommate in London) better.  We got to see a little bit into her life, although the author did leave just enough mystery and question there, for us to be waiting for the 3rd book to be released, which is Dani’s story!!!  I was also thrilled to stay in touch with Serena and James.  We got to see what is happening with them after their story ended.

I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a love story that is over all intriguing, fun, quite steamy, and a sweet read.  This was a great addition to the Lost Series.  Even though it is part of a series, it really can be read as a standalone.  This is a complete story with NO Cliffhanger 🙂
