“Be a good little assistant and go get me some coffee.”

Comments like this are why I hate my boss. Since taking over as CEO of Benson Industries, Cole Benson has been demeaning, arrogant, and infuriating.

For as much as I hate him, I can’t stop thinking about him. A captivating attraction passes between us each time his dark eyes meet mine. As the late nights and business trips add up, we are compelled to cross the line of our professional relationship.

But how can I call him my boyfriend when I already have a husband?

4 “Forbidden” stars!

Just as Lucy Cleary is “Conflicted” in this story, I am “Conflicted” about this story. I know I should hate it because of what it is about, but yet I couldn’t stop!! And yes, I knew what would ultimately happen, but again, I STILL COULDN’T STOP 😉

“I wanted something to make me feel alive again.”

Lucy is unhappy in her marriage when in walks her new boss, Cole Benson. And I just want you to know, I HATED him in the beginning. He was rude, arrogant, and needed to be put in his place. I spent half the book wondering what Lucy was seeing in him….until things change. I just kept thinking, the grass isn’t always greener on the other side! But, then I would think that Lucy wasn’t happy to start with. I know I was just making excuses for her, though.

“He was a drug, and I was addicted after one hit.”

This isn’t a long review because we all know it’s about cheating and if I write too much I will give away some surprises. It’s drama filled, though, readers!! And it brings out all the emotions. You want to hate it, but you can’t because it’s too fun to read 😉 I enjoyed this story even if I didn’t totally agree with the content, and just as I have before, I enjoyed this author’s writing. Let me know your thoughts! Happy Reading!!
