It’s the end of summer. Just before I start senior year with my two best friends in the whole world. Dustin and Emily are everything to me. We’ve been inseparable since middle school, and when we’re together, nothing can go wrong.

But things aren’t always what they seem. Em’s turned into a drunken mess who parties too much. Dustin and I have hooked up a few times―and now he’s ready to take our relationship to the next level. Yet I’m not sure I want things to change. I’m scared if I take it any further with Dustin, our friendship will be ruined forever. Then there’s Ryan. The new guy. He’s hot. He flirts way too much. And Em has totally set her sights on him.

So when my best friend betrays me in the worst possible way, guess who’s there to help me pick up the pieces of my broken heart? Ryan. But he’s so confusing. Annoying. Sweet. Sexy. I want to trust him, yet he makes it so hard. What I really want is for everything to go back to the way it was before.

Before I found out that best friends make the worst kind of enemies.

4 “Clearly I’m delusional” stars!

Olivia and her high school friends in Just Friends, almost made me pull my hair out! And the funny part is I remember being this age and doing the same silly things, or making the same bad decisions. Olivia, Dustin, Ryan, and Emily put the D in drama when it comes to their relationships.

“Something’s going on between these two. And I don’t like it.”

The story is based on these four, while they are in their senior year of high school. We all remember it’s a fun time, but also confusing time. And these four are confused!! I would like to blame it all on Ryan, because I don’t like him, but it is so much more than just him. It’s all about high school drama and bad decisions. The story really should come with a warning label of IRRITATING and INDECISIVE teenagers. Most of us were, weren’t we?!?

“He’s not to be trusted.”

Do you think I didn’t enjoy this story?? I hope not, because I did! When I get all emotional about a story, I know the author has done a great job of presenting it to me. The flow of this story is great and before I knew it I was to the VERY frustrating ending. WTF?!?! That was it?? And how does the author expect me not to want to scream?!? All I wanted was to know what happens between Dustin and Olivia 🙂

“We’re all messing around with each other. And it’s a freaking disaster waiting to happen.”

So, now I will be impatiently waiting to see what is next for this group of horny and confused teenagers 😉 Happy Reading!!!!
