A night out with her friends brings a complete stranger into the mix. One encounter on the dance floor is all it took for him to flood her every thought. But Is he really a stranger after all or is he closer to her than she thinks?
Should Kate take the chance and chose her best friend, knowing he will cherish her forever? Or should she take a leap and go with the man that had her heart before she even knew his name? Someone’s heart will be broken, someone will lose everything they hold dear, and someone will tell the ultimate lie and destroy everything.
Will fearing regret keep Kate away from what she really wants most?

~~ 5 “Heartbreakingly Beautiful” Stars ~~
I am kind of speechless right now, while thinking about how I can express what a wonderful book Fearing Regret truly is. I don’t think my words can truly do this book justice.
I guess the easiest and best way to explain it is by saying that I LOVED this book. This story had everything…passion, angst, love, laughter, heartbreak, and sadness. I loved how this story flowed. It gave us a little overlap from Finding Solace but not enough to be repetitive. This book is the Second book in The Flawlessly Broken series. Finding Solace was book 1. This book can be read as a Standalone, but I would truly suggest that you read them in order. You meet a lot of the characters in book 1 and they do carry over into this book.
This story was so much more than just a love story. It was a story about a woman who has to overcome some serious issues and also a great story about true friendships and what people will do for their friends. I truly felt like I was a part of this group of friends. I don’t want to say too much about the actual storyline because I really think this is a book you need to go into blind to get the full affect of the story. This book was truly full of ups and downs, highs and lows, laughter and sadness. I will tell you this make sure that you have some tissues handy….you will need them. What I really enjoyed about this book was that the author kept me guessing. I thought I had a lot of things figured out and that the story was easy to predict, but I couldn’t be more wrong. Yes there were a couple of things that I was correct in guessing but the author still managed to knock me off my feet. I couldn’t read this story fast enough!!!!
The main characters in this book were Tony and Kate, but the story was also about so many more people. The cast of characters in this book and the ones that carry over from Finding Solace are the best cast of characters I have read about. They are so relatable that you actually feel a part of the group. When they were happy so was I, but when things weren’t going so well, I could feel their pain as well. To me that is what makes a book a 5 Star read….when an author can suck you into a story and make you feel everything that the characters are feeling. Now don’t get me wrong….there were plenty of times I wanted to smack both Tony and Kate upside the head for their stupidity, but overall I LOVED them!!!!! Kate was such a strong character. She had a lot of sass and spunk. The friendship between her and Kara was amazing!!! As for Tony….I fell hard for him in Finding Solace, but I fell even harder for him in this book. He is definitely going to the top of my BBF list 🙂
I could go on and on about this book and characters, but I really think you just need to read this book!!!!
So YES I would recommend this book. Like I said if you are looking for a book that has it all, this would be it. You get a love story that is truly so much more. This is truly a book about overcoming fears and learning to trust yourself to do the right thing.
