Bestselling new adult author Cindy Miles is set to capture the hearts of STUPID GIRL fans again with the grand finale of the Stupid in Love series, featuring Memory and Jace.
That’s how I refer to the guys who’ve had the bad fortune to fall for me. They only see long legs that they wish were wrapped around them, a cat-like smile, and the reckless abandon to take on any wild dare. It’s all a game to me. Show me a bridge, and I’ll leap over the side. Give me a car, and I’ll race it. Give me a heart, and I’ll break it. I always win. I even showed Death who was boss a long time ago.
Or so I thought.
Now, time is running out, and I’m losing fast…and big. I met someone. Jace Beaumont. He’s smart, and good, and I dream about spending days exploring the summit of his perfect lips. But, I’m a grenade. I know I should leave him be. I can’t.
Study, class, work, repeat. That’s all I have time for. At twenty-five years old, I have a bit more mileage on me than the average college freshman. But, that’s what happens when you spend your youth drinking, partying, and bagging girls like it’s a full-time job. Now, I have goals. There’s just one kink in my plans. Her name is Memory. She’s every guy’s dream girl. She’s intoxicating. She’s trouble. I want to stay away. I can’t.

~ 3.5 Stars ~
Stupid Love is the 3rd book in Cindy Miles Stupid in Love Series. This is an enjoyable read but not my favorite of the series. To me this book was very different from the other two books in this series. The one thing all three books have in common is that it is based around college aged characters.
One thing I really enjoyed was that we got to see Olivia and Brax a lot in this book. Now I am sure that is because Jace Beaumont is Olivia’s older brother and all these characters go to Winston. I liked seeing what was happening with Olivia and Brax while following Jace and Memory’s story.
Why this book is different was because it wasn’t based off a “dare” like books 1 & 2 were. This was truly a book about opposites attract and not judging a book by it’s cover. In this book we meet Jace and Memory. Jace is a 25 year old man going back to college to get some direction in his life. He is past all parties and just getting by. He is buckling down and going after a degree in Criminal Justice. So when he meets Memory for the first time at a concert and she seems to be drunk, he vows to stay away and not get involved with her. Labeling her the “Party Girl” Well as we all know things aren’t always what they seem. Memory is a 22 year old girl who is living life to it’s fullest. When Memory was 7 years old she was diagnosed with a brain tumor and luckily out witted death and pulled through. Now nearing the end of her college career, she is getting headaches again and has found out the tumor has come back. She decides to keep her secret and just live life likes it’s her last. What she wasn’t expecting was to meet Jace. Over the course of the book Jace and Memory forge a friendship and then progress to more. Will Memory tell Jace the truth about her health and if she does How do you think he will react?? You’ll have to read the book to find out.
What I think didn’t work for me with this book was that we know about Memory’s health issues from the beginning of the book and what happens at around 80% of the book, is what I would’ve liked to see sooner. I think either the health scare should’ve happened sooner in the story or we as the reader should’ve been kept in the dark longer and had it be a secret to everyone. I know this probably isn’t making much sense, but you’ll understand more when you read the book.
I did like all the new characters that were introduced in this book. Memory had such a great group of friends. And Jasper was amazing!!! Once you meet him you can’t help but fall in love with him.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a NA book based in a college setting. This book will have you emotions all over the place. One minute you will be laughing but then the next you could be crying. I loved the overall theme and message of this story and not judging people, because you never really know what is happening on the inside until you get to know someone.

A native of southern coastal Georgia, she loves reading (naturally), baking swoon-worthy desserts, traveling abroad, yoga, and classic rock. In the novel, a volatile mix of bad boys, sassy smart girls, dark secrets, and red-hot romance add up to one wild ride through college. The second book in her Stupid in Love series, STUPID BOY, features a wickedly handsome law-breaker who falls for a beautiful, straight-A college student with an ugly past of her own.
