Damien fox lived up to his name. Cunning, sly, and dangerous, fifty percent of Vegas’ strip clubs were his.
Whatever he wanted, money, attention, women, he got.
And now he wanted to buy my bar, no matter the cost.
I wanted him to go to hell on a first-class ticket.
He played a dirty game, and I followed his rules. I let him think he would win.
Despite our differences, it was clear to see that we were no more than two broken hearts colliding in the darkness.
Closed off, sexy, and holding a pain that would crush a lesser man, he was the ultimate sin.
One I couldn’t deny myself, even though I knew better than to trust a fox…

~ 4 “Sin”fully Delightful Stars ~
If you are looking for that Enemies to Lovers story that will make you laugh and also melt your panties….the pick up SIN by Emma Hart. You won’t be sorry!!!
This book is the first in Emma’s new Vegas Nights series. It is a standalone novel and told in Dual POV (although we do get more of Dahlia’s POV) This is the book I come to expect from Emma when I pick up her books. She gave us an entertaining storyline, although I wish there would’ve been more drama. She also gave us characters that will make you laugh and also fall in love with. I know she portrays Damien to being an arrogant mean guy, but I couldn’t help fall in love with the misunderstood man. (he brought me back to the Stone Men days)
My only real complaint with this story was I wish there was less inner monologue going on. I felt it slowed the story down at times. I am a reader who likes more interaction between the characters, because it helps form the connection between them. But this in no way took away from my enjoyment of this book. It’s just the reason I didn’t give it 5 stars.
In SIN we meet Dahlia and Damien. Both characters were born and raised in Las Vegas and both have seen tragedy, causing each of them to have broken souls. I thought Damien and Dahlia were the perfect match. I loved their sparring and sass that they threw at each other. Damien needed to find a woman who wouldn’t bend to his will and give him everything he wanted and that is exactly who Dahlia is for him. Now don’t get me wrong….this didn’t happen very quickly. To say these two didn’t like each other in the beginning is putting it mildly. But all that sexual tension made for an interesting story 😉 I have to admit, both of their backstories, broke my heart. So it was so rewarding to see these two open themselves up to each other and find out how to love and trust. I enjoyed following their journey with them.
I also loved the secondary characters we were introduced to. (except Damien’s dad….he’s a jerk) I liked that we are introduced to the next character in this series. I think Perrie’s is going to be an interesting story. I do hope that we get to see a story for Abby (Dahlia’s BFF) I loved her spunky side.
I would recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of Emma’s and if you enjoy an enemies to lovers story.
