Jackie Davenport will try anything once, especially in the bedroom. Anything except falling in love. She lives a carefree existence packed full of fun, but free from emotional entanglements and that’s just how she wants to keep it. When she meets the new police officer in town, she’s unable to deny the connection between them. His over confidence and bullish ways grate on her…still she can’t help but find herself falling into his bed AND falling for him.
Jamie McTavish is man enough to admit that he probably didn’t make the best first impression when he met the 911 Operator. That doesn’t mean there isn’t still sizzling sexual tension between them. He’s a man of action and he’s not content to sit on the sidelines until Jackie works out her issues. But trying to tame this tiger might be too big of a challenge for even him.

~ 5 Stars ~
Jackie is the 26 year old 911 operator who suffered a tragedy when she was only 10 years old and because of that has never let herself trust and love another person. She has been happy just being the party girl who doesn’t form emotional attachments to anyone….That is until she meets Jamie. Jamie is a 29 year old cop who has just moved to Bar Harbor to look after his ill father. Jamie has the pleasure of making a traffic stop and helping a stranded Jackie one fateful day. From here we see two people who learn to open up and let someone in.
Indecision is a companion novella to Indiscretion. It is completely a stand-alone book. You don’t need to read Indiscretion first to read Indecision. They are two completely separate stories. Jackie is a character that you meet in Chloe’s story (Indiscretion) and you get to see how great she is. I was so excited to see Elisabeth was writing a story for Jackie. Jackie is the fun loving party girl, who you can’t help but want to be her friend and root for her to have her HEA. Jamie is a hunky cop who is demanding but yet tender hearted. I loved his commanding ways in the bedroom and his soft heart outside it. I loved that he was willing to give up his dreams to help take care of his sick father. He also wasn’t willing to give up on Jackie, he knew they were meant to be together!!
Indecision was a fast paced, quick, fun and sexy read. You can definitely read this book in a few short hours. With me saying that, it wasn’t rushed or lacking anything from a full length novel. I felt the characters and storyline were well developed. This story isn’t racked with a lot of drama or angst. In this story the drama is mostly brought on by Jackie’s own fear. This is a story of one person learning to love and trust again and letting someone in. Jackie needed to learn to live for the moment, not for what could happen down the road.
I loved that we got to see Chloe in this story also. It was just a sweet reminder of what a wonderful friendship Chloe and Jackie have. It’s the type of friendship every person hopes to find in their lifetime.
So if you are looking for a fun, sexy and quick read without all the excess drama or angst, then Indecision is the book you should read. I have read all of Elisabeth Grace’s books and I have NEVER been disappointed. I absolutely love her writing and will read anything she publishes.
