I was born a fighter. Abandoned by my parents, I spent my life forging my own path—one guided by my fists and paved with pain.
Untouchable in the ring, I destroyed everyone who faced me, but that’s where my victories ended. Outside the ropes, I repeatedly failed the few people who loved me. Including my best friend, Liv James—the one person I’d die to protect.
Even though I didn’t deserve her, Liv never stopped believing in me. Never gave up. Never let go. After all, she understood what I’d lost, because she’d lost it too.
Liv was everything to me, but she was never truly mine.
That was going to change.
I lost my first love, but I refused to lose my soulmate.
Now, I’m on the ropes during the toughest battles of my life.
Fighting to be the man she deserves.
Fighting the solitude of our pasts.
Fighting for her.

Pleas tell me there are some more Page brothers hiding somewhere….LOL!!!
I don’t want this series to end, I have to say that this is by far one of my all time favorite series!! Not only is Aly an amazing and talented writer, the Page Brothers are fantastic characters and I have loved all three of them from the very first page of Fighting Silence.
Fighting Solitude is bittersweet for me. I have been waiting to read Quarry’s book since book 1 released, but now that it is over, I am extremely sad to see these characters go. Aly wrote their stories in such away, that the reader was thrown into their world and wishing that I was a part of their lives. I loved that the stories were about the boxing world, I’m a huge fan of sports romance novels. Each of the books were standalones, with different story lines and a new couple in each story, but because these characters are brothers there were some things that interconnected this series. I truly believe that this is a series that NEEDS to be read in numerical order to get the full feel of the stories and characters.
” You watch my back, and I watch yours.”….Liv and Quarry
In Fighting Solitude we follow the journey of Quarry (The youngest of the Page Boys) and Liv (Long time friend of Quarry’s) As I said before I loved Quarry from the very first time we met him in Fighting Silence (Book 1) and was excited to read his story. I loved the way Aly wrote this story. We got to watch Liv and Quarry grow up together and truly watch their friendship turn into something more. Both of these characters had some serious demons they were fighting, but they were determined to do it together. Now I know what you are thinking….anyone who has read Fighting Shadows (Book 2) knows that Quarry is in a relationship with Mia, but something tragic happens at the end of that book and Quarry is left barely holding on. So you are wondering how does Liv play into this story and will she be fighting against a ghost. I will only tell you this, the way this story plays out and how the author told this story, works perfectly and you will understand why I say that once you have read this book!!!!
Quarry and Liv are truly made for each other. They were so much alike. Both sassy and stubborn, but loyal to a fault. Liv was a great heroine, I just loved her. Her personality was great, she was strong and independent, but still slightly broken on the inside. Quarry was just the same. It was a great comfort that they had each other to lean on. But they also had the amazing support from Till, Eliza, Flint, and Ash. These six characters will be forever bonded!!
I know I am rambling and probably not making a whole lot of sense, so I am just going to stop here and say…. READ THIS BOOK/SERIES!!! You won’t be sorry. This book will definitely be going on my BEST OF 2016 READS list. And one I will for sure be reading again in the future.
