Title : DIRTIEST SECRET
Author : J. Kenner
Release Day : April 19, 2016
From the New York Times bestselling author of such “racy, sizzling Stark novels” (RT Book Reviews) as Release Me and Say My Name comes the provocative first Stark International Novel—the beginning of the S.I.N. series.
It was wrong for us to be together, but it was even harder to be apart.
The memory of Dallas Sykes burns inside of me.
Everyone knows him as a notorious playboy, a man for whom women and money are no object. But to me, he’s still the one man I desperately crave—yet the one I can never have.
Dallas knows me better than anyone else. We bear the same scars, the same darkness in our past. I thought I could move on by staying away, but now that we’re drawn together once more, I can’t fight the force of our attraction or the temptation to make him mine.
We’ve tried to maintain control, not letting ourselves give in to desire. And for so long we’ve told ourselves no—but now it’s finally time to say yes.
** Dirtiest Secret is intended for mature audiences. **

~ 5 Taboo Stars ~
WOW!!!! I honestly would give this book more than 5 stars if I could. This book had me so engaged that I didn’t want to put it down and I couldn’t stop reading. I devoured this book in less than a day.
Dirtiest Secret is the first book in a three books series by J.Kenner. This book does end on a cliffhanger, but it isn’t a true nail biter but it will leave you wanting more. I am happy to say the Jane and Dallas are in a good place at the end of this book. This book is most definitely NOT a standalone and if you aren’t a fan of cliffhangers then this is a series that I think a reader should wait until at least book 2 is released before reading this one.
This book had so much going on. The storyline is one of the best I have read in a while. This book is a friends to lovers, Forbidden romance and a second chance romance all rolled into one. But it also was chocked full of mystery and suspense. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and I have so many things running around in my head right now. I think I know how this story is going to go, but I am not sure and I can’t wait for the next book to see if my predictions are correct.
This is one of those storylines that I can’t say much about without it being a spoiler. So I will just say that this was a great first book in the series. It sets up the story for the remainder of the series. We get to know the characters in this story and all about their past, even though I think there is still more to learn about the past between Dallas and Jane. This book also starts to unravel some secrets that you won’t see coming. I will say I was left with a lot of questions after reading this book, but I am guessing they will be answered in the books to follow.
I have read other books by J. Kenner, but I have to say by far this is my favorite!! I loved her writing style with this book. We get both POV’s and a storyline that was totally captivating. Everything flowed smoothly and the pace was excellent. The only negative I have about this book was about Dallas’s extracurricular activities. I really didn’t like how long those carried on into the story, but as you can see it didn’t take away from my full enjoyment of this book.
So if you are someone who likes a great suspense story with romance and a forbidden love story built in, then you NEED to read this book. If you are already a fan of J. Kenner’s then you don’t want to miss this book!!!
