About COLLATERAL DAMAGE
Hollywood It Girl, Francesca Leon, has just landed the biggest role of her career…one that could clinch an Oscar nomination and open doors. If she’s going to move her career to the next level and work with top directors, she has to nail this part — and keep her sexy, but unreliable leading man from screwing everything up.
Bad boy Calder Fox is the son of Hollywood royalty and fresh out of rehab after his best friend’s death sent him on a downward spiral of drugs and alcohol. While his fans still love him and the paparazzi stalk him, he’s never taken life, or anything about his career, seriously. He may be charming and drop-dead gorgeous, but if he doesn’t stay sober, he could ruin Frankie’s future and expose her long-hidden family secret to the voracious media.
Behind the scenes
Things heat up during filming and have the potential to become hotter, deeper, and much more real. But can Frankie trust Calder with her secret? Or is he doomed to sabotage his own happiness yet again?

She crossed her arms over her chest and cocked a hip to the side. “You may be the one laughing now, but just wait until it’s time to film that scene. You think I did a good job of sucking you in today? You won’t even know what hit you.”
I stared at her, unable to speak for a moment. The images of Frankie on her knees in front of me and the words she just spoke—specifically, the part about sucking me in—were bombarding my mind. I was now a little too eager for that day of filming to arrive.
“Cat got your tongue, Calder?”

Well all I can say is….. Elisabeth Grace has done it again. She just continues to amaze me with the fabulous books she writes. I have loved this series since reading Rumor Has It (book 1). Her stories and characters are fun, sexy and just overall wonderful. She creates stories that don’t have a lot of extra drama in them, but are filled with so much emotion you can’t help but connect with the characters on a personal level.
I think this book was the most emotional for me. She touched on some serious topics such as……alcohol/drug addiction and hoarding/OCD. I thought she did a wonderful job with the accuracy of these two addictions. She showed the raw and gritty side to what addiction can do to a person’s mind and life if left unhelped. She showed us the daily struggles a person goes through just to make it day by day. But she did that all without having this book be too heavy. She was still able to put a smile on face and a blush into my cheeks 😉
I was excited to read Calder’s story when we met him briefly in Picture Perfect (book 2). I knew his story was going to heart wrenching and emotional and I wasn’t wrong. I really enjoyed this book because it was about two actors who are forced to work together but realize they have much more in common and eventually fall for each other. I loved Francesca’s character. She was such a strong and loyal person. The way she cared for her mom and eventually Calder was heartwarming. I thought Francesca and Calder had great chemistry and even their banter was cute. I loved that Ms. Grace gave us little sneak peeks of the movie they were working on through some of the dialogue in the story.
I really don’t know what else to say about this book, except this is a MUST READ. Actually this whole series is. If you are looking for a book/series that will warm your heart, melt your panties, and just leave you with an overwhelming happy feeling then these are the books for you.
